Support for independence at ten year low

Further to last week’s YouGov poll, which found declining support for independence even based on the SNP’s desired referendum question, today’s Telegraph reports on this year’s ScotCen survey:
“Just 23 per cent of Scots favour independence, down from 30 per cent in the same poll last year and the lowest percentage since it was first conducted in 1997.”

I Honestly Believe this Economic Crisis has ended the Independence momentum.

Scotland on its own is just too vulnerable to the Vagaries of the world economy.

Alex Reminds me of a good shop steward who can motivate his Members.
Using firebrand rhetoric to appeal to their Financial needs.(hence the appeal to voters on their heating bills)
But once he ask for them to walk out of the door (the Union) in support for him and his Beliefs.
He is going to find himself in a minority in Scotland.

    That's for sure

Whilst one or two polls showing something to be the case are not conclusive, the sheer volume of polls showing support for Scottish independence on the decrease should be heartening news indeed to any Unionist.

I think I may have missed a survey or two. Today's Sunday Herald has another TNS System Three poll using the SNP's preferred wording...

Sunday Herald: "Support for independence in decline"
Politics.co.uk: "Scottish independence support shows fall"
