whopper misunderstanding to add to the
list. As reported in the
Times and
Scotsman, during FMQs yesterday Alex Salmond clamed that the SNP’s Scottish national income tax plan “carries a consensus support of the Scottish people”. But in fact, public support is now
down to just 46%, despite the SNP’s claim that 90% (later amended to 67%) of households would pay less.
